About Us

The Christian Life Center was organized in 1986 with the task of helping those in need with utility bills, housing, medical expenses and food.  As time passed the needs of the community mandated a change in focus for the organization.  Today the CLC is a food bank providing food for those experiencing food insecurity.  The CLC works in conjunction with the Department of Family and Children Services, local churches, and the community in giving assistance to those needing our help.

A board of directors is in place to make financial and organizational decisions.   Included on the board are a treasurer and an accountant to provide clarity in the monitoring of funds.  A staff of five volunteers is onsite at the food pantry each week in addition to the volunteers from churches in the community.

The CLC staff and volunteers are dedicated to help those people who are in the greatest need for food. Our goal is that no one in our community should be hungry.
